Hello, I'm Miranda

I'm the ceramic artist and pottery teacher behind Earth2Ware. I make small-batch functional pottery from my studio in Callington, drawing inspiration from the Tamar Valley, Cornwall and the stories held in the landscape around me.

Earth2ware is also a place to come and make - from firt-time wheel experiences to regular pottery classes and relaxed studio sessions.

Cornish Cottage Pottery Kit Collection

COMING SOON!

Build your own Cornish cottage, from your kitchen table.

A hand-building pottery kit that lets you shape, carve and decorate your own miniature cottage incense burner — no wheel, no studio, no experience needed. When you’re done, send it back to me and I’ll fire and glaze it, ready to bring home.

How it works

1. Your kit arrives with everything you need to hand-build your cottage — clay included.

2. You build it at home, at your own pace, following the step-by-step instructions.

3. Post it back leather-hard (still soft, before it fully dries) using the included instructions.

4. I fire and glaze it in my Tamar Valley studio, then send your finished piece home to you.

What’s in the box

Every kit includes a full set of hand-building tools: a canvas work cloth, wooden rolling guides and rolling pin, carving and needle tools, a scoring tool, sponge, kidney rib, slip cup and water pot — plus ceramic paints and a brush so you can decorate your cottage before it’s fired.

Each kit comes with step-by-step instructions written to guide you through the whole build from first roll of clay to final details.

First release

Tamar Valley Cottage

My launch kit — a cottage inspired by the valley where my own pottery journey began.

Each cottage kit is a little different, and so is every one you build. Once it’s fired and glazed, you’ll have a piece that’s entirely your own — made by your hands, finished by mine.
