Painterly Moss, Cobalt & Rust Mug

A tall hand-thrown stoneware mug with a gently faceted cylindrical form and an expressive sculptural handle. The exterior is layered with a richly varied reactive glaze combining moss and olive green, cobalt and deep navy blue, warm rust-orange, ochre, cream and smoky brown. Flowing runs, pooled colour and speckled areas create an abstract painterly surface that changes around the piece, while the pale speckled interior provides a softer contrast. The handle rises into a distinctive extended thumb rest, adding both character and a tactile handmade detail.
